Angry 2014 front lower control arm (driver side)

I try to change the lower control arm, passenger side was hard but I made it, the driver side is a pain... When I try to take off the front screw the pan cap (transmission) avoids bacause is exactly in the front of the screw, of course you can move or bend to the sides due the control arm, it looks that the only way is to drain the transmission pan, remove the cover (cap) then I can remove the screw... is that right?

Any ideas
