Check your tires. My wife's Mazda Protege had a vibration around 45-55 mph and once I changed the worn out tires, the vibration disappeared.

I knew the tires were shot but thought we were getting rid of the car and didn't want to spend money on new tires.

I to have a strange "Rubbing" noise coming from the rear of my 2007 CX-7.
I don't know what it could be. The tires are all 4 new. I changed the brakes 7 months ago, and the noise began a month later. I have checked the brakes again but the noise continues. It really gets loud as I approach 50 mph and gets its loudest at 70mph.
T-Man 74, I am not sure that our problems are related but who knows.
Does anyone have information that will help on either problem?
