Will need to go to your local Mazda dealer and have the DRL function activated in the smart junction box. It is a programmable parameter that can be changed with no parts replacement needed.

No need to replace anything. I tried it on one of our stock vehicles and it took about 5 minutes.

My wife would love to hear that as she was born and grew up there.

Cool

sorry to bother, the mazda tech here isn't familiar with the procedure. Any chance you could email him directions?

His email is wrix@stcatharines.mazda.ca in the subject line put Tribute instructions....

If you dont wish to deal with him, could you email it to me? jrross1@cogeco.ca

Really appreciate all your help, thanks again......

Is the SJB change only relevant for newer models?

As i have an American 2003 Model that i imported to Canada and need DRL fitted and every Mazda dealer gives me a different response.

Some say i need a DRL Module, some say the Module doesn't work and a $20 relay needs running, and other's say don't bother get an aftermarket part.

So if the 2003 just needs this SJM that would be awesome.
