I've noticed that the throttle only has 1 coiled up spring on it. What happens if that spring ever breaks? Most have a secondary spring hooked to it ( my dads 2001 same engine Taurus does ) but they designed the linkage differently on his. Is there some sort of built in spring that i'm not seeing? Talking about a safety issue if that ever breaks.
