steel piston?
I think he is either an idiot or pulling your chain - even IF 2 kinds of brakes are fitted to your model, the material the caliber piston is made of is NOT a sensible method of determining which you have (in Ford or anyone else's minds...).
Hi Marcelo.
Thank you for your reply.
Also, please confirm additional details for your vehicle:
2008 — 2011 Mazda Tribute
-Fits Models With Steel Piston ONLY
Please double check with your dealership if you are not sure about the above specification(s).
Thank you for understanding,
-J/M
and this is what I want to buy it..
Kind of lost.. btw when I try to remove the caliper guide pin. is a hex bit I try to remove and expected.. 7 mm or 9..mm ( they said so..) but the highest I can get is 10mm ,but mine is at least 17 where can I get that bit/ or what is proper size? thanks, again.

Yes grim caliper Piston.. they told me are two types... ( ???)
If you search the part number they quote then elsewhere they quote the more useful guidance “fits models with rear disc brakes”....
You will be needing to remove the caliper mounting brackets from the hub to replace the rotors so Id expect bigger than the caliper mounting screws but Im not sure what size, 17mm bolt head sounds about right.
