Default Side mirror

Hey guys I'm trying to install flashing led lights behind my side mirrors on my 08 tribute. I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the glass out of the housing. Any ideas.

The mirrors are glued to a base plate and are not a point of entry. You need to remove the back shell.

I ended up getting the mirror off but then realized that because the mirrors are heated mirrors the LED arrows will not shine though unless you know a way to make them work.

Ahh, your adding a turn signal mod? Yea you need mirrors that are supposed to be part of that mod, as they will have parts of the reflective backing that are transflective. Not sure how the heating modual works but if it heats a wire on the back of the mirror (simular to your back windshield) then you may need to ditch that altogether.
