saturn key stuck in tribute ignition

My wife put her saturn key in my 2003 tribute v6 ignition. Now its stuck half way in. How do I get it out?
(Already jiggled steering wheel and shifter.)

Pliers and some "dry" silicone lube?
Why would your wife think a GM key would fit a Ford? :D:D:D

'Just havin' a little fun at your wifes expense. Actually it sounds like something mine might do, except I don't let her drive my car (she doesn't want to anyway since the exhaust sytem install. "It's TOO loud!!" :D;):D)... and I keep it locked most of the time too.

tried WD & pliers - did not budge - feels like it has been grabbed by something.

Well, there's always Mazda Roadside Assistance, or a locksmith?
Frankly, 'don't know what else to suggest.
