Replaced Brake booster...new problem encounted.
Hey guys, signed up because I need help from fellow tribute owners.
I replaced my brake booster with a replacement from a wreckers. I connected it all up but now the pedal is really hard and the brakes are not really working very well. Any ideas whats wrong? Is the booster possibly a dud? Did I not bleed the master cylinder line properly? I'm at my wits end. Im contemplating putting the old booster back in if all else fails. |
Welcome to the forum!
Did you test the brake booster before you put it in? |
Got it working this arvo. I noticed that I forgot to put on the rubber gasket thing that goes between the master cylinder and booster. Once all back together it was all good!!
