new tribute owner here-what adds are good and others not necessary

Hello! New Tribute owner here....we have a 2003 with about 180K miles on it....hoping those with some experience could possibly chime on...looking to see what adds people have found worthwhile/convenient to have versus some that may not be at all necessary (for example, in checking craigslist, someone has a '02 they are parting out...it has step/siderails...ours does not considering making an offer) what things would you add or modify, given some time as an owner and the experience it's provided...another example i suppose would be the brakes, which i've read in a few places, are potentially an issue on this vehicle...thank you!

At 180,000 miles, apart from floor mats, I would be saving my coin for preventive maintenance ( proper servicing) and general repairs. Tributes aren't cheap to keep on the road as they age ungracefully.
