Default Mazda Tribute X134 Electrical Harness Connector

2002 Mazda Tribute

I'm trying to troubleshoot a no-start problem that is most probably the result of a voltage drop caused by an electrical problem, perhaps a short or bad ground. I am referencing TSB 01-047/06 "2001 - 2004 TRIBUTE - NO START, NO CRANK, OR MIL ILLUMINATION WITH ONE OR MORE DTCs PRESENT". I don't have any OBD2 codes present, as indicated in this TSB. However, the other symptoms are the same where I have an intermittent no-crank, no-start condition which comes and goes, sometimes with weeks or months in between. I have replaced the Starter Relay in the engine compartment, and the Ignition Module in the steering column, but the problem persists.

I would like to inspect the X-134 electrical connector, as suggested in this TSB, to clean off any corrosion that might be inside the connector. I located the connector underneath the battery tray. However, I cannot get it separated by hand power, and I'm afraid to forcefully pry it open with a screwdriver as I might break the plastic connector which is probably brittle by now from age.

Attached is a photo of the connector, with vertical and horizontal legends superimposed over the image. If you know, please tell me how this connector is separated? You can reference the legend numbers and letters, as needed. Thanks!
