Mazda 3 owner curious
I currently own a 08 Mazda 3, and am looking for a second, bigger vehicle.
I was just curious of views and opinions on the Mazda Tribute.
I have read alot of reviews on people having problems with trans. and so forth.
Are the decent on space and towing small trailers?
How well does the 4WD do in the snow?
Any other feedback would be appreciated.

As for space, it'll fit 4 adults comfortably, with room for a 5th if necessary. To give an idea on storage, I moved across the country and had it packed FULL of stuff, the biggest of which was a large dog crate (it fits with the back seats up or down). With the back seats down, you can fit a surprising amount of things in the back; I've also loaded it down with fence posts, 6' pickets, 80lb cement bags, etc. The luggage rack helps, too, if you want to add a car-top carrier. Mine also has the trailer hitch that's been used without issue (6x8 trailer). The 4WD does an excellent job for me in the CO winters...I don't remember a time ever getting stuck.
Some of the quirks I've had include the light behind the odometer going out (seems farily common given posts on this forum) and the power brake booster needing replaced. With 120K mi, I expect some things to need attention, though. Routine maintenance has been straightforward.
I hope this helps. Best of luck with your purchase.
