hiya all, so i have a 2001 Mazda tribute 2.0 4wd a/t, i started it up the truck today and herd a pop sound from the engine bay now my truck wont idle properly, when i give it a rev i can hear a loud suction from the back of the engine area. truck wont idle right. it idles then dies out, no check engine light on.. any info would help

Look for split or deteriorated hoses.

 

As above , or popped off hoses .

 

thanks for that. found a hose ripped at the back of the engine, not sure wtf its called.
