Default I4 to V6 Engine Swap???

Has anyone performed an engine swap from the 4 cylinder to the V6 in the Tribute or Escape? I have an 06 with the 4 cyl AWD. I was just wondering if anyone has done this and how bad and expensive it was. Thanks Larry

Manual tranny much easier than automatic due to TCM (tranny control module) issues with the automatic. You may need a new ECU anyway going from 4 to 6 cylinder.
Go turbo and with a re-tune!
