How do I remove intake manifold off 2008 Mazda Tribute?
It's not the V-6 model. I own the 4-cylinder 2.3 liter engine. I'm looking for a good manual or website that tells me step by step on what to take off. My mechanic found a leak through a smoke test. I have a collapsed PCV hose. I already bought the PCV hose and also the PCV valve. The PCV valve because I will already be there.
Is the Chilton manual for my car any good? I looked at the Haynes manual and it was not very specific. I hope someone here can help out. Thank you. |
Found a few helpful things:

Thanks for the video. But I tried it. It's a no go. The body of the 2008 Mazda Tribute is set up different. I had a few friends that are mechanics and went to a body shop to confirm it as well. Any other way?

Is it possible to remove the wheel well plastic pieces and take wheel off as well?
Try to reach it from there? Now I know why Mazda doesn't want to check these things! |
