Head Gaskets

2001 v6 185k, cracked radiator for a while, never ran hot just added water. Blew 2 piece heater hose @ coupling- fixed, got hot on test drive- changed radiator/cap-hot on test drive-changed water pump/thermostat-hot on test drive, could only add water after getting hot then cooling down, finally got system full and ran normal (no steam from tailpipe) for about 20 miles but noticed system was under TREMENDOUS pressure, was going to flush system next day but could barely get it started and when it did start-constant white smoke from tailpipe but motor ran good. What are the chances of a warped/cracked head or block ? I can change the gaskets, but don't even want to fool with it if something is cracked or warped. Thanks
P.S. by water I mean antifreeze

Yea, they really don't blow head gaskets since the gaskets are multi-layered steel. The cylinder heads warp instead.

No offense mate, but you had a cracked radiator , but instead of spending $63 dollars for a brand new Aluminum radiator , you risked losing your engine by adding water, ( not antifreeze ) for a while ?? OMG I cant believe that.:eek::eek:
