Fuel Pump Issue --- maybe
Long story short --
After driving on the hwy (~ 5 miles down the road) at a constant speed of 65, veered off on exit ramp and came to stop sign. My 05 Trib stalls. Shifted into Park and it started right up. With foot on brake, shifted into Drive, and the vehicle stalls again. Same thing, but this time shifted into Neutral and started right up. With foot on brake, shifted into Drive, and another stall.
Finally got it to the shop and was able to do a pressure fuel test. Got the Trib back on the hwy and the pressure gauge was reading 30psi. Shouldn't this be around 55psi?
I should note that during city driving, the vehicle does not stall, it's only during a constant drive on hwy without the stop-n-go traffic.
I think it may be the fuel pump heating up and not producing the needed pressure.
Any different opinions?
