Fuel pump ground
Thank you for allowing me to post on your forum.
My sister has a 2006 Mazda Tribute 4 cyl. which the dealer has determined needs a fuel pump and perhaps a fuel rail sensor. They want $1300 to do the job and she has asked me to replace them for her. I've done some research on this forum and have found the fuel pump access port and the fuel rail sensor. I'm sure that somewhere I've read that the fuel pump ground connection can become corroded. Have any of you heard this, or what are the chances?
Also, the fuel rail sensor is not sold in many auto parts stores. Is there something I should be aware of should I try to replace it?
Thank you for any help you can offer. Sisters!
