I am looking to purchase some fog lights for my 2001, and I am wondering if it is quite simple to install yourself? What will it entail? I found some after market lights that are supposed to fit 01-04 models. Another question, how do you connect it to the dash? Are you better going to a dealer to get this done?

It's going to be some basic wiring and maybe trimming an interior panel to fit the light switch. You'd wire it into the fuse box under the Instrument panel, use a fuse as recommended in the wiring instructions.

Not sure how those lights attach to the bumper/front of the truck. If you're interested in learning how to do those types of things, it's a good project to start on.
