Daytime running lights
Hi,
we need to install them, any advice on this? thanks in advance... |
RE: Daytime running lights
Will need to go to your local Mazda dealer and have the DRL function activated in the smart junction box. It is a programmable parameter that can be changed with no parts replacement needed.

Cool, thanks
So no need for a module....beauty |
RE: Daytime running lights
No need to replace anything. I tried it on one of our stock vehicles and it took about 5 minutes.

His email is wrix@stcatharines.mazda.ca in the subject line put Tribute instructions.... If you dont wish to deal with him, could you email it to me? jrross1@cogeco.ca Really appreciate all your help, thanks again...... |
RE: Daytime running lights
Sent the mail to him and to you but my email is telling me that 0 messages were sent so not sure if any will get. I know that it will post however so will put it here as well. Let me know if you have any problems.

RE: Daytime running lights
Is the SJB change only relevant for newer models?
As i have an American 2003 Model that i imported to Canada and need DRL fitted and every Mazda dealer gives me a different response. Some say i need a DRL Module, some say the Module doesn't work and a $20 relay needs running, and other's say don't bother get an aftermarket part. So if the 2003 just needs this SJM that would be awesome. |
