Cruise control steering wheel lights

Are there lights on the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel? mine are not coming on if they are lighted.

I have an 04 tribute ES. is there a way to get just the front park lights to be daytime running lights?

Mine is a 2004 and the cruise control lights on the steering wheel are not illuminated.
