Bow line tie down loop
We came up with a nice way to create a bow line tie down loop. http://store.rampconnection.com/product.php?xProd=6896
Take a pair of motorcycle tie down loops, attach the bottom with an inexpensive aluminum carabiner (Walmart or REI) under either side of the hood. Run them out each side with the hood closed. This is then a nice place to tie down the bowlines to keep the boats on the rack securely.
The price is right as well.
