6X8 door speakers? WTF
 

What was ford thinking when they decided to put in 6x8 speakers all the way around anyway does anybody know where i can get a set of speaker plates to make a 6 1/2 fit into the 6x8 opening? i tried ebay and nothing and my mazda stealership has nothing but stock 6x8's

Best thing to do is make plates yourself, if you are handy with tools. That is what I have done in the past. The best place to look is if you have a good car stereo speciality shop in your area. If so, call or go in and ask them to make you what you need. We have one down here in TX called Custom Sounds and they do this type of thing.

Why thank you for your reply but i have already ordered the metra speaker plates that make a 6x8 or a 5x7 fit a 6 1/2 cause even on an 2006 tribby the stock system sounds like doo doo so its upgrade time. thank you and good night, say good night gracie good night gracie
