Hi, I'm a newbie here. I just bought a true old lady car. 2008 Tribute with 20k miles on it. I sold my 2004 Escape to pick this up from my 84 year old mom who is giving up driving.


Anyway, it has the factory 6 disc stereo but not the factory sub.
My question is: Is the oem wiring in place to install the factory sub? Or was there a special version of the stereo that only had the wiring?


I know the oem sub is not the best but should be better than nothing.

You can run a aftermarket amp & sub off the factory stereo.
