Hello guys..im new here
got a 05 tribute but the 4wd light is flashing and only the front wheels spin in snow
Anyone know what to look for that might be the issue

 

I hear/see comments about 1st checking the fuse for AWD

 

Get it scanned for fault codes.

 

checked fuses and all look good but before getting it scanned for faults I was wondering if worn-out front tires could be confusing the AWD system?
I live up in Canada and we have lots of snow and in a week ill be putting 4 new tires on
