2003 Tribute trouble starting
I was in backed into a parking spot today at lunch, when i went to start the car, it cranked fine, then cut off.
This happened about three times, all cutting off around 900rpm(idle). I finally used both feet to put it into gear with the revs up, and it was fine since then. This happened a few weeks back at a light. It didn't cut off, but it sputtered the whole while. This was after breaking to a full stop.
Both times there was an incline, leaning the truck forward. Anyone have an idea what this may be?
Maybe a separate issue, but sometimes it takes longer to turn over. Sometimes it's almost instant, sometimes it can take 2-3 seconds. Temperature is not a major factor...
THANKS
