2002 Mazda tribute door won't open!

I have a 2002 Mazda tribute lx that I love, but now the passenger rear door wont open. It won't open from the outside or the inside. When I use the keyless entry it sounds like it wants to unlock but it doesn't. I'm usually mechanically savy so I pulled off the inside door panel to take a look. The handles seem in tack, cables and rods seem fine, but it just won't open. I was gonna check the actuator but of course I can't get that off unless i have the door open. And of course no outside key hole to pick the lock soooo I'm stuck. Possible other problems? Solutions? I've seen lots of articles but little were help. Thank you in advance for your advice.I have a picture that I'll post later of the handles and cables and such.
