It all started with me using the tribute for the day. I was speeding up to get on the highway when it stalled out on me. I got it restarted and BOOM CEL light and running badly. Got it AutoZone to check codes. 1 and 3 cylinder mis-fires. I installed two new spark plugs and coil packs to no avail. I took t to a mechanic who said computer. I took it another mechanic who said get a computer six coils and six spark plugs and bring it back. Oh he never lifted the hood or hooked it up. I finally got the nerve to order a computer I bought six autolite spark plugs and six coils. I installed everything yesterday. it ran horrible. Today I took it all apart except ecu that i just unplugged. I check the vacuum lines all seem ok. I checked the coil pack leads they were on tight. no cel light on. Now its back firing and feels like it wants to stall out at red lights. It won't rev past 4,000 rpm in park. I'm dumb founded what do i do next? I don"t want to sell it I have too much in it. Any idea's would help me drastically. Thank you all in advance. Hope to hear any idea's soon. This is a car for school we use it to pick up grandkids so I want it safe as possible
