I recently bought a 06 RX8 and I am looking for a good cat-back set up for it. I don't want anyting really loud I am just wanting a better tone out of the car without a lot of interior resonance. I know very little about these cars I have always been into Camaros and Corvettes, I have been told that what I am looking for is not easy to find with a rotary engine; is that true. Any help is appreciated.

the MS exhaust isn't that much louder than stock. look into the Racing Beat REVi 8 exhaust. it's a full stainless steel system and the tips are rounded (doesn't have that coffee can look). the sound is definately deeper and louder than the stock and is NOT unbearable. i had the RB exhaust but decided to get the JIC titanium exhaust because of the lighter weight and blue tips.
