Default Running RX8 in cold weather

I recently had my car serviced for "super flooding" the engine. I was told when buying the car, about 2 months ago, the importance of letting the car run before you shut it off.

I have another vehicle I drive mostly to keep miles off the RX8. The only thing I can think of that would have caused my car to flood is not starting it for a week during cold weather.

Can NOT starting the car cause it to flood????

yes, not starting car and leaving it in cold weather will cause flooding. u need to get latest flash upgrade for ur computer. go to www.rx8club.com and do a search, u will find this is a common problem for 8 in cold weather. i think they fixed it with new flash though. u gonna have to do some searching bro. good luck.
