on my 83 GSL-SE or was it an 85 not shore it was 13B with slant lettering any way
it had 249K
i would put half can of mistery oil in the carb every 60 days
don't remember why
but it never stopped running on me.
and i really beat on that car day in day out. BEAT BEAT BEAT.

You really have to be on top of the oil changes for starters. Depending on what series you get, some just have different maintenance needs.
