Default mufflers

Hey guys, honestly how long do you think i can run on 2 aftermarket straight through design mufflers? i have been reading the posts and some say 2 hours to a couple of months...my friend is giving them to me for free and am wondering if it would be wiser to take them and resell them?
thanks,
-Smurf-

you can run straight throughs as long as you want on an N/A. anything glass-packed or fiberglass filled will melt in a few hours but if they're straight pipes with nothing in them they'll only be noisy as hell but you can run them.
