Default i want to get boosted!

i have just picked up an 87 rx7 n/a and i was wondering what it would take to get a turbo on it. i havent really worked on imports before this so i have no clue, but i love this car to death and want to fix it up. If someone could help me that would be great. oh and i was also wondering what kind of budget i would be looking at.

Thanks,
jake

the only real way to do it is to do a complete turbo swap. you will need the motor, ecu, turbo, and either the TII hood with the stock intercooler or a FMIC kit. that is the bare minimum of what you will be needing. if you keep your tranny, you will need to keep your flywheel, counterweight, and clutch to bolt up the stock tranny to the new motor. i would recommend dropping a turbo tranny in it though. the stock one isn't going to last long on a turboed motor.
