havin problems with the fuel pump
 

does anybody have any idea why my pump wont pump. its a brand new pump and strainer. the has been parked for 5 years and i got my hands on it. i checked the power and its gettin 5 to 5.50 volts. any ideas would be appriciated.

i am having the same problem

I am getting about 6 vdc to the pump.

Also the engine seems to run dry after about 10 miles on the freeway.

Can anybody help us? where is the fuel pump control unit on an 88 b2200???

What type of vehicle is this mad proffesor? Also, aerol you should post your question in the pickup section where you would get the most help.
