A/C leak on passenger side
Hey everyone,
I just purchased a 1983 RX-7 and drove it home (almost 900 miles!). I ran the A/C most of the way, and overthe durationof the trip I'd estimateabouta quart of cold water dripped into my passenger side floorboard. It seemed topour out rather than drip when I wasmaking sharp turns. Does anyone have feedback onwhat the problem is, how much it will cost to fix it, and where I can get the parts at a reasonable price? Thanks a lot!

Sounds like your A/C evaporator drain hose is clogged up, evaporator case is full of water, and sloshing out. Under the hood on the firewall you should see a short back hose sticking out and proably pointing downwards. This is the drain hose. Try inserting a piece of wire or something up thru that and see if you can get water to come out. Sometimes get leaves and other debris drawn into the ventillation system that get stopped here and clog up that drain hole.
