transmission mounts

What might I expect to pay to have a transmission mount replaced on my '99 Mazda Protege (part/labor)?
I understand it is not as tough as replacing a motor mount, but how long should it take my shop to replace?
Thanks!

RE: transmission mounts

Which mount are you looking at having replaced? Is it the one on left side under air cleaner housing? Up front by the radiator, or rear back by the firewall? What engine size as well? Auto or manual trans? Can get you price and part number with above info as well as estimate for time.

The transmission mount is rear back by the firewall.
Mazda Protege ES, 1.8-liter 4-cylinder, manual 5-speed.

Thanks!

Take a look at your vehicle build date located on the drivers b-pillar. Should be on a sticker just below your door striker. There are two different mounts depending on when was built. If built between 12/01/1998 and 04/15/1999 then you need a Mazda part #B25D-39-040C that retails for $83.05. Available from onlinemazdaparts for $66.44. If built after 04/15/1999 then will need Mazda part #BJ0N-39-040C that retails for $49.80. $42.33 from online.
Labor listed in Mitchell is 1.1 hrs for trans mount. Dollar amount will depend on labor rate that your shop charges.
