Rust Removal/Remove the rear bumper
 

I have quite a bit of rust on the back passenger wheel well that I am in the process of removing. I have just begun and I would like to avoid any pitfalls if possible, so if you have done it or know a great way to do it please let me know.

Also does anyone know how to remove the rear bumper? Is this necessary?
