No heat at all in my 1995 Protege
I have had this problem for two (2) years now and still haven't found the problem.
I have absolutely no heat in my car. I have replaced the blower motor, fuses, blower resistor relay and finally the thermostat. Still absolutely no heat. I get I guess what you call luke warm air but not enough to keep me warm during the winter. Is there anything else I should check or is my car not meant to keep me warm anymore??????? :( |
When the engine is fulled warmed & hot, are both the heater hoses hot?

Is your thermostat functioning properly?

flush the cooling system and back-flush the heater core.

Thermostat was recently replaced so that's fine, plus if it wasn't functioning properly my car would overheat and it doesn't do that! I guess I'm just gonna have to dress warmer when driving my car in the winter. |
I don't think you are looking hard enough. There are 2 hoses going from the engine back to the firewall going to the heater core.
Oh, the warm clothing is not a bad idea at all! |
