Hey there, I bought a 2002 P5 last year and Im just getting around to dealing with it now. I am a mechanic and shop owner and forums are my favorite source of specific info. So the guy I bought the car from ran it out of oil and coolant and the timing belt tensioner spring broke too. (real well maintained) I paid $500. So I know the engine is toast and picked up a new (used) engine for $450 with a 1yr warranty. The car has 250k and its an automatic. Im looking for what problems I should expect or what are the quirks of this car? My tailgate is rusted under the badge like all of them but otherwise body is in great shape. What type of power do these things have? What are the typical mods (to gain power) ? Oh what is the OEM spark plug in these?
