Question Metal shavings in transmission

Hi
I dropped the sump on my auto transmission and this is what greeted me. How much is too much metal on the magnet? There was also a couple of 1-2mm pieces as well. The O/D light has been flashing and it wont change from 2/3. I checked the solenoids and they appear ok. I fear it could be something worse after seeing all this metal. Any ideas?

The stuff on the magnet is ok. The small bits/chunks are definitely not ok. Time for either a rebuild or a second hand replacement.
