Mazda 323 BJ Clutch Master Cylinder Replacement
Hi Guys,
I have a Mazda 323 BJ 1.8L Manual and I'm currently having an issue where the clutch pedal is really light and it won't shift into any gears when the engine is running. There seems to be a leak from the clutch pedal. I believe that the clutch master cylinder needs to be replaced. However, I have never done this kind of repair before and I would like to know if anyone knows any link with step by step instructions on how to replace the clutch master cylinder on this particular car. Thanks. |
H there! i have the 1990 Mazda protege 1.8 SOHC 5 speed M and i replaced mine no too long ago, its fairly simple and easy to bleed, i would make a one man bleeder witch you will find plenty of instructions for online. pretty much a tube in a bottle. try and introduce the least amount of air as possible into everything. The replacement is fairly simple, just take the clutch safety switch off and the fasteners, one is inside on the firewall, and the other in the engine bay on the firewall.i hope this helps my friend! fire away with the questions if you have any! i love to help
