P0102 means the MAF output seen by the OBD (and hence the ECU) is less than 0.21 volts.
The MAF sensor has three wires. +12 (wire with red stripe), ground (wire with black stripe), and signal (wire with green stripe). Unplug the MAF, and check the voltages on the car side connector with the ignition switch on. (Forget about the green). If you don't get these voltages, check wiring and fuses (the +12 volts comes from the D contact of the main relay in the engine compartment). If the input and ground are OK, you have a bad connection (clean it with contact cleaner and plug/ unplug the connector a few times), a short on the MAF signal output to the ECU, or a bad MAF.
A normal MAF will produce a signal of about 0.5 V at idle, and 3.0 V or so at 3000 rpm.
