lost key. tips needed.
 

2000 protege, lost key. another key cut from lock but wont turn over - time lapse.. Original key found. Now it wont turn over at all seems to drain battery. (lessons learnt dont give teenagers a car with only 1 key)
would the cut key have thrown anything out for the Original key to not turn over now??
manual, do you think hillstart will do im about to push it with said teen down hill n hope for the best - eg im over it.
Advise on getting this up n running hugely appreciated.

Disconnect the battery for a few hours. Reconnect, make sure its fully charged or use a jump pack, try starting it with the original key.
