Default Need help identifying connector in engine bay (PICS)

Can anyone help me identify the following connector? What is this connector or or atleast where it is suppose to be connected?

Just noticed this connector was left unplugged on my wife's Protege and can't figure out what it is for or where it goes. I'm not sure how or when it was unplugged.

Any help would be appreciated.

It's hard to tell from your picture but it doesn't look "unplugged". The bracket is not bolted in place. Perhaps it was removed to access some other parts and someone forgot to reattach it.

The broken tie strap indicates it was also a standoff for something. Possibly the radiator hose?

The wire attached appears to be a ground. What color is it?
