Default How to replace rear door small triangle glass

I'm going to look at a '99 Protege this weekend. On the driver's side the rear door small triangle glass is broken. How hard is it to replace that piece?

Not really all that hard. You'll have to take the door apart and remove the moveable glass first. The rear verticle track of the moveable glass is attached to the framework that encircles that small glass and a salvage yard will pull it as an assembly so all you have to do is swap them out. There will be one or two 10mm bolts or nuts, don't remember which, securing the verticle track to the door and maybe a couple of screws along where the weatherstrip runs around the top of the door adjacent to the glass.

Thank you! Sounds pretty straight forward.

Cheers,
