Default Fuel pressure dampener issue

Hi. Have a 2001 mazda premacy which uses same engine as a 323 and protage. Anyway. Haveing issues when sometimes idle just dies or gets way lumpy and when fo to accelerat its like its starved of fuel but then feels like something changes and away it goes like a roket. This makes it extreamly dagerous especially in traffic. As few weeks back ot maxed out at 80kph and would not go over but it did take about 50 seconds to reach that speed with goot to floor (hence why i belive starved of fuel)

it feels exactly like its being starved for fuel. Does not do ot all time. Might run fine for few days then play up etc.

have read about fuel pressure dampener causeing this issue.....has anyone ele had this? I looked at it on car and the screw on top has poped up on a angle....does not seem normal?

also things that been changed

fuel pump
filter
plugs
plug leads
coils
vacume leak test
air hose
throttle body removed and cleaned
