disregard the chim/beeps before i take the key out am only wondering about the one after i take the key out

could it be an alarm beep

according to that video, the warning light for "A Door is A Jar" is on - or a door is partly open, not to be convinced with a door is a jar of jam.
The door is partly open before you take key out!

it does it even with the door closed and lights off

i was told it could possibly be a beep where the alarm is activated when the beep happens and was just wondering what it was am very sure someone with a protege has the same beep after keys are out and know what this beep is telling me

Do you have a detachable face?

I mean, does your radio have a detachable face?

and i don't mean my radio (which i do).
And it does not give me problems.

my radio is just a aftermarket sony radio no detachable faces lol

our B2300 has a Sony with detachable face and it does exactly that sound. I thought it is to remind you to take the face with you so you can misplace it at your earliest convenience.;)
