i was wondering where i can get the nessicary wiring diagrams to install a remote starter, and if there is anything i should know before i start. its a manual transmission but i know there are ways to install the starter in it anyway. thanks for any tips.

 

by the way, its an '02 protege5 2.0 ltr. manual tranny.

 

all that i know is that you have to bypass the neutral safety switch and if you leave the car in gear and try to start it, the car will take off. my friend's car jumped into a wall when it was in gear.

 

It didn't come with instructions? lol? I'm sure if you get on their site they might have the instructions in PDF format to view I've noticed a lot of companies do so.

 

it has instructions, but i want a diagram to be sure im hooking up to the right wires in my car. and it has a hood relese switch so it wont start if the hood is up. i figured i could just wire it to my e-brake switch so it wont start if the brake isnt set. i just have to run the wire a differant way.

 

I have no clue how to install a remote starter but my sugestions would be to go on YouTube. Its very informational it even will give you a video of the instlation. Good luck. My issues are the remote starter key. I have no idea how to remote start my 2001 Mazda. I have tried every way that its just getting me more mad at the stupid idea.
