CAR GOING DIFF. DIRECTION

i just got into an accient and my driver side fender got hit...when i started to drive the car it started going left sometimes right, and also my steering wheel is not straight. pretty much my steering wheel wobbles and my wheel goes in different direction sometime. i knwo the accient caused it cause my cafr wasnt liek that before.. so would this be because the accient bend my alighment? or is it something else? hope i was clear adn thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds to me like it took out the steering rack and lower control arm. DO NOT DRIVE IT> HAVE IT TOWED TO A SHOP.

I agree (or possibly tie-rods or some other critical steering component)

LCA will do that. i agree with the general feeling of the group. have it TOWED next time. you could have damaged a ball joint and it could have failed when you got it up to 20 or 30 around a gently curve. it happened to a friend of mine with his (sigh) honda civic and the whole left side of the car hit the ground and slid a few feet. this was just about 5-10 mph on a gentle curve and it did about $600 of damage that he couldn't file with his insurance.

just a thought though.
