Can Anyone Help? 98 Protege Blower Resistor

I have seen this is a common problem on this car. I replaced the blower motor which was not the problem and now I am looking to replace the resistor. Where is it and do you have to take half the car apart to get to it? Is there a service manual with specific instructions how to replace it? If so could you link it or post the name and publisher here. It would have been too simple to put this right beside the blower motor. I would appreciate any help I could get on this. Has anyone here ever replaced the blower motor resistor on a 98 protege LX ?

Thx_Jim

Open the Glovebox and remove the door.

Behind the door, there is a set of wires attached to a white plug. That object being held in with two screws is the resistor.

It is easily replaced in 2 minutes.

Are yiu sure?

I removed whole glove box to remove blower motor and there was a bracket holding a wiring clip but it had no resistor I could see. Was this a 98 protege LX you are referring to?

Thx_Jim
