Can anybody give me an approximate cost on a remanufactured transmission?

 

I was quoted from $1400 to $1900 installed on my Jetta (automatic).
It should be about the same for the Mazda manual or automatic. They eat you up on the labor.
I got a used transmission from pull a part, paid 75.00 for it, and me and a friend replaced my transmission, so my cost was $75.00 plus a few things like fluid, gaskets, filter etc.
Runs like new.
